CPM CONSULTANCY & ENGINEERING
We provide professional Construction Project Management (CPM) services for all phases of a project. Our services might be performed in one or all phases of a construction project, providing a general or specific scope, acting as the Client Representative or the construction Project Manager.
BASIS OF DESIGN (BOD) PHASE
This service aims owners to reduce the uncertainty and risk in their capital projects. We act as the Project Client Representative. The service starts in the preliminary or basic design. It sets-up the objectives and priorities, helps selecting project team, oversees the design development and specifications, oversees constructability and maintainability, prepares the basis for cost estimation and preparation for construction.
PREPARATION FOR CONSTRUCTION PHASE
Preparing for construction is an important phase in the total project cycle. It is necessary to address in this phase, the scope of work, cost estimation, schedule, type of contracts, procurement plan, tender package(s), communication plan, documents organization, commissioning plan and permits, among others. In this phase, we use the Risk Plan as a tool with the Client in order to adjust the project expectations.
PRECONSTRUCTION PHASE
The preconstruction depends on how detailed are the phases of design and preparation for construction and preceds the construction. Preliminary works on site are performed as cleaning, earthworks, temporary facilities and even retaining walls. The general contractor and/or subcontractors are selected. Detailed design (shop drawings), specifications review, procurement review, quality plan, HSE plan, firmed cost and schedule, are the major activities in this phase.
CONSTRUCTION
A good construction depends on a good performance of the previous phases. From a lean construction point of view, the scope of contract, in the short term plan, must mobilize materials, people and machinery in order to guarantee continuous flow of work. We provide project control and report services, risk management and we take the project to a successful hand over through the commissioning management.
CIVIL ENGINEERING CONSULTING
We support our client projects in design review, value engineering and elements constructability review encompassing soils, structures, materials, mechanics and environment adequacy. We are able to support earthworks, underground works, foundations, structures, roof systems, waterproofing and façade systems. We address also industrial floors, equipment bases and piperacks for industrial processes. We work in order to make civil engineering in the construction project efficient.
POST TENSIONING CONCRETE
With more than 5,5 million square feet of post tensioning flat slabs and industrial floors handed over, we support our clients providing design and constructability review for making construction efficient. ARCHITECTURAL PRECAST CONCRETE FAÇADES
The use of architectural precast concrete in façades is the state of the art in concrete of prefabrication. With many years and many projects, including fabrication, transportation and erection, we are capable to support the design and constructability review, prefabrication quality audit and erection oversight for the construction projects of our clients.
